This is Mr. Dorman's 9th year at JHS and 23rd year in education. Previously he was the Technology Director for Wortham ISD, a technology integration specialist for Mexia ISD, taught Chemistry at Mexia High School, and science at Mexia Junior High.

Mr. Dorman teaches the following courses at JHS:

• Health Science Theory
• Dual Credit EMT certification 

Mr. Dorman graduated from Jacksonville College with an Associate of Science, Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science, and Baptist Missionary Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Religion.  He completed the post-baccalaureate initial certification program at Stephen F. Austin State University.
