Welcome to my page!!!

This is my first year at Jacksonville High School as the Health Science Technology teacher! I also serve as the HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) sponsor.  I am very excited to be here and I am enjoying working with the students.

Before coming to Jacksonville High School I was an Athletic Trainer for 15 years and have worked on both the collegiate and high school levels while also being a college Instructor.

I have a Master's of Science in Collegiate Scholarship from Northeastern State University and a Bachelor's of Science in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from Missouri State University.

Down Syndrome Awareness Month

My 3rd Period Health Science Class has been actively promoting awareness for Down Syndrome Awareness Month!  This was something that was their idea and they have been doing such an amazing job!  The students picked the topic, have been creating posters for the school halls, have found facts and are passing them out around school, and are coming up with more ideas each day!  So during the month of Oct. take a moment and learn something new about Down Syndrome!
