Coach Lynn Nabi

Lynn Nabi has been a part of Texas Basketball for the last 28 years. He is a graduate of UTA and Midwestern State University. He has coached men and women at all levels from middle school to College.  Recently Lynn served as the Director of Athletics and Women’s Basketball Coach at Jacksonville College. He was named NJCAA Region 14 Women’s Basketball Coach of the Year in 2008, 2009 and lead the Jacksonville College Women’s Program to the most wins in a season in programs history. 
He has developed many players to move onto the NCAA DI level. He has also coached and devloped players that have gone onto be named NJCAA All Americans. 
He has coached three District Champions from three different high schools. Rockwall, Fairfield and Cedar Hill. He was named 18-AAA coach of the year in 1992 and in 1994. He has maintained and directed summer basketball camps from high school to college for the last 26 years. He earned his master’s degree from Midwestern State University where he worked under the legendary coach, Gerald Stockton for three years. Lynn Nabi has worked as a teacher, coach, and/or administrator for the Cedar Hill ISD, Fairfield ISD, Rockwall ISD, and Jacksonville College. Lynn believes the time he spent with NJCAA national championship coach Jerry Stone at Rockwall High School helped strengthen his passion to coach. Nabi believes that success is a product of hard work, discipline and faith.  He strives to instill these qualities in all the athletes he coaches.
