Directors

Madison Montgomery is the Director of the Cherokee Charmers.

 

She has lived in East Texas nearly her whole life. She graduated from Bullard High School in 2015 where she served as a Bullard Belle Officer and Captain. She continued her dance career as an Internationally Famous Tyler Junior College Apache Belle from 2015-2017 while pursuing an associate degree in Kinesiology. She traveled the world and performed internationally while at TJC. 

 

Madison graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Minor in Education. Madie was the drill team director of the Cougarettes at Grace Community High School, taught at Dance-N-Drill studio for 3 years, and was a coaching assistant for the UT Tyler Spirit Squad. She was the dance teacher and Royals Dance Team director at Cumberland Academy High for 2 years. 

 

She has been married to her husband Ari since December of 2020 and they welcomed their son, Jordan in September of 2022. 

 

Mrs. Montgomery is in her first year at JHS and is happy to call Jacksonville her new home! 

 Tiffany Alexander is the Assistant Director of the Cherokee Charmers.

Mrs. Alexander is in her third year as the Instructional Technologist at Jacksonville High School. This is her ninth year with JISD and eighth year as Assistant Director. Previously she taught Algebra and Geometry, Technology and Business classes at JHS.  Before becoming a teacher, Mrs. Alexander worked in many different aspects of the business world.  

Tiffany grew up dancing through various studios, wherever her family was currently living and was a member of the Lon Morris College Bearcat Brigade. She graduated from Cheshire High School in Cheshire, Connecticut in 1992 and two weeks later moved to Texas. Tiffany graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Finance.

She has been married for 21 years to Mark Alexander and has a beautiful son, William, who is a senior at JHS and a Charmer Escort.
