Based off your career and the recent COVID-19 pandemic, would you be considered an essential or non-essential worker? What would your work day look like now with COVID-19 regulations in place?

Read the following quote:

“We cannot become what we need to be by remaining what we are.”

          –Max De Pree

Answer the following questions on your blog on your student weebly page. If you cannot access your page, email in your response to laura,guidry@jisd.org.

What do you want to become?  What do you need to start doing to make it happen?  What do you need to change/stop doing?

We will have a Zoom meeting on Tuesday, April 7th at 11:00 am. Check your school email and our TEAMS page for info on how to log in to our class meeting! I cannot wait to see you!

When creating an advertisement or commercial for your product, there are several things you must consider first. Who would you want to endorse you? Is it an athlete, movie star, or super model? Listed below are a few questions you will need to answer to create your own advertisement.

  • Who is your target audience?
  • Who is the “face” of your ad?
  • Why would you choose him/her?
  • Does your ad campaign have a slogan?
  • Would you mention the competition?
  • Can your product come in various sizes, colors, smells, etc.?
  • Would you have music playing in the background of your ad? If so, what song?

Once you have answered these questions, create an advertisement to be placed in a major magazine. Think about what magazine your ad would best fit. Also, think about your target audience and what magazine they may read most often. Make sure it is appealing to the eye and most of all, PERSUASIVE!
