 Stuff for Today

Greetings, Digital Media!

I hope you are staying healthy and happy during this time away from JHS. Please focus on the following tasks until further notice:

1. Improving Pow Wow Project

For your Digital Media class, please continue to work on your “Improving Pow Wow Tutorial Hour at JHS” project. Please build a PowerPoint presentation in Office Online via your JISD Office 365 account that showcases how you would improve our tutorial time at JHS. This is the same place that you log in to your email. Include in your presentation:

  • Changes you would make to the current tutorial schedule
  • Any changes you would make to the level of freedom that students have during this tutorial time. Should students have more freedom of movement during this time? Less?
  • Would you separate the tutorial time from lunch?
  • Come up with a new name for this tutorial time. Do not call it “Pow Wow”. What would you name this tutorial time?
  • Design a logo for your new name.
  • Include a detailed schedule of how this tutorial time would fit into the school day.

2. Sneak on the Lot Curriculum

Please check your school email in Office 365 for an email from Sneak on the Lot. Please follow the instructions in the email to log in to your Sneak on the Lot account and begin the online curriculum.

Please email me with any questions or just to say hi – I miss all of my students and classes and would love to hear from you.

3. Adobe Photoshop CC Tutorial Series

Please utilize this video series of Photoshop tutorial videos. Note that this video series starts with the basics of Photoshop, which you already know. Scrub through the lessons and begin where you feel most comfortable learning. Somewhere around Lesson 14 (Eraser Tool and Layer Masking) is probably a good starting point.

4. Adobe Premiere CC Tutorial Series

Please utilize this video series of Premiere tutorial videos. Note that this video series starts with the basics of Premiere, which you already know. Scrub through the lessons and begin where you feel most comfortable learning.

Thanks,

Mr. Traylor
